Single Plan for Student Achievement-SPSA
Single Plan for Student Achievement-SPSA
The purpose of the Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) is to present our school goals to the community. The plan reflects how our goals align with District LCAP goals and outlines how funds provided to the school by the state or federal government will be used to improve the academic performance of students. When creating the SPSA, decisions are based on state and local testing data. Our plan has been designed to address students’ academic, social and emotional needs. In the SPSA, we identify instructional strategies and interventions that will be implemented to help improve student achievement. The SPSA also ensures that the budget is being utilized in ways that support the needs of students. The SPSA is created with input from teachers, staff, parents and the administration. It is approved by the Ponderosa School Site Council prior to being presented to the Board of Education for final approval.
